Phone Plan (Optional)
Getting a phone plan is totally optional! Some students opt out of getting an Italian phone number and instead choose to rely on Wi-Fi, which is available at most restaurants and other public places.  The typical cost of a basic phone plan is about 20€ per month.

Textbook Tips from Students:
Students typically do not pay for textbooks.  As the apartments are rented out, typically, to former Study Abroad Students at LdM they tend to leave their textbooks behind and students tend to use those.  Students will typically take cooking textbooks as they contain recipes.  It is advised that students check their apartments and with friends before buying textbooks to save money.  Used textbook availability varies from student to student as schedules vary.
